Most mornings as the kids are jumping out of the car to go to their specific school I will encourage them to give 5 different classmates a compliment. Not anything forced and not just to impress a certain person, but real compliments – things that they truly see in another that needs to be noticed.
Once they get home that evening I will ask them to tell me about their compliments given out. This assignment not only encourages the compliment receiver, but also my child giving the compliment.
The same is true with our Lord. We must look, even though it is not hard once you get into the habit of looking, we must look for things to brag on God about. Psalm 145:4 says ‘One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.’
Too often nonbelievers think that luck comes to them from time to time. I don’t believe there is anything such as luck, but it is God doing what He does best – blesses us at times for no good reason other than His love. Be on the lookout for ways God is working all around you and be ready to share that with those who need to be encouraged.
Have a glorious day my friend!!
